Our Partnerships

TCOLF engages with public and private Research Institutes, High Education Institutions and Companies that work in the research areas supported and that share its principles. The Foundation supports collaborative projects between one of these organizations (the “Home Institution”), and GSK R&D Spain (the “Host Institution”).

Portfolio of complete and ongoing projects Open Lab scientists work at the Tres Cantos campus during part or the whole project duration, accessing GSK drug discovery expertise as part of an integrated team to develop new medicines for diseases of the developing world.

Home Institutions supported to date include:

Our Partnerships

The partnership between GSK and TCOLF is committed to research new treatments for diseases that affect millions of people in the world’s developing nations. To facilitate the establishment of the Tres Cantos Open Lab Foundation, GSK provided £10 million of an initial investment to support the Foundation’s objectives. In 2018 an additional £5m in GSK funding to support the Foundation’s research and development programmes in diseases of the developing world was announced.

The TCOLF is open to new partnership opportunities. Organizations interested, please contact Openlab Foundation.
